this tread is about god?

There was a while where i didn't really believe in god...But now i do. I don't like the thought of not being in control of my own life. I like to think that major events happen for a reason, (death, marriage and stuff like that) but not every little thing.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I beleive that whatever happens happens. Nothing is for a reason. We're here and that's that. No special point cause your gunna die not knowing what will happen later. What's the point.

my point of view is hard to explain.

i fully believe in God. However, i believe i can control what will and won't happen to me. Now here's where it gets confusing. i AM in control of my life, but what was meant to happen will. For example, let's say buying a new pair of shoes was an issue. K, i can control whether i go and buy the shoes. However, if i was going to buy the shoes has already been KNOWN (not decided) by god long before this.

Some things happen for a reason, but i really don't think EVERYTHING happens for a reason. Is there i REASON i had a pop tart this morning instead of a bagel. I had both available in my house, but i really don't think something so meaningless is worth dwelling over the fact of whether it was supposed to happen or not.

ok, what do you guys think about luck? Is it just a random chance or something more? Anything from living through a bad car wreck to finding a dollar on the ground...

I don't really believe in luck. What happens happens. I don't really believe in much I have to say. Like ghosts, god, luck, chance, or other stuff that I can think of so far. I'm just a boring person. Lol.
