the tool would be somehow attached to the tree so the cable could be periodically tightened

my dad says hes comfortable with them and knows how they work

Sam Dan and I concluded Free Lining takes alot longer to set up than planned so permanent was better

Also i want to start a new large thread but we need approval on operation status and operation name.

Water balloon launcher, a legit one. We do it off the top of someones house and we calculate distance and get an x mark and get 3 camera angles. one from roof where we shoot and 2 in the bushes hidden around the site of impact.
